Quito Information
Hi guys -a few ideas for things to do while in Ecuador:
- Descend into the crater of Pululahua near Mitad del Mundo (but get a lift back up!)
- Take the Teleferiqo to the top of Mount Pinchincha by day
- Take the Teleferiqo to the top of Mount Pinchincha by night
- Take a hot bath in the thermal springs at Papallacta
- Visit Fundacion Guayasamin for some culture
- Go for a beer at Mirador de Guapulo your local bar
- Take in the cinema and fast food at Plaza America
- Order a pizza at L'Arcate or a crepe at Crepes y Wafles
- Go see Liga play
- A walk in Pasachoa
- Mountain bike down the Cotopaxi
- Horseriding from an historic hacienda
- Go climbing with Moggely
- Canoe to Cuayabeno Reserve with Magic River Tours
- Birdwatching at Bellavista Lodge in Mindo
- Take the Chiva Express and ride the roof down the Devil's Nose
- Watch Tungurahua smoulder by night (from a safe distance!)

Thanks for the info, the hardcore trio (yey incl. flem) will arrive later next month and are grateful for your help. And the appartment looks awesome, we look forward to staying in the Askew holiday residence if of course that is ok with you guys as we may be smelly again by then.

Hi Laurie,
Good to hear all your news. Apartment is no problem. It is completely free until the 27th June when there is another booking starting -understand you are flying out on the morning of the 27th. If I have got it wrong or you change your mind, then let me know and we will make enquiries for you.
We will see if we can arrange a lift to the airport for you on the 27th too.
